About The Position

Meriwether Godsey is hiring a full-time Food Service Associate at a private school in Norfolk, Virginia. Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Flexibility and ability to switch between locations and job duties.

ServSafe Food Handler Certification.

Responsibilities

Greet customers with a positive and friendly attitude.
Operate registers, scanners, scales, and credit/debit card terminals, and handle exchanges efficiently.
Transport food and supplies to the cafeteria and help set up, maintain, and break down cafeteria, food-serving, and beverage areas.
Serve and replenish food from counters and steam tables.
Assist with preparing hot and/or cold foods and store food properly using knowledge of temperature requirements and spoilage.
Keep dining-room and assigned kitchen areas neat and organized.
Clean and sanitize work areas, dining tables, chairs, and equipment during and after meal periods.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in another kitchen area by following daily and weekly cleaning assignments.
Inspect workstations for compliance with service standards.
Participate in regular safety meetings, safety training, and hazard assessments.
