About The Position

Support the dietary and food service needs of patients, visitors, and staff through a variety of responsibilities such as setting up food items, working on tray lines, checking patient trays before they leave the kitchen, delivering and retrieving patient trays, assisting with preparing food items for patients, cleaning and sanitizing dishes for patients and cafeteria, and cleaning the dish room at the end of the shift. Provide customer service in the cafeteria area including stocking supplies and serving meal items to customers.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED required.
Within first 1 ½ year of employment, Food safety Training accredited by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) Conference for Food Protection (CFP). Can be ServSafe or TAP Series.
Must have the ability to read, speak and write English.
Follow oral and written instructions.
Mathematical skills required to complete clerical tasks.

Responsibilities
