About The Position

Texas Health Dallas is hiring a Food Service Worker II for its Food & Nutrition Services department. The role serves food on cafeteria and patient tray lines, assembles and delivers patient trays, and retrieves trays. It also includes recording food delivery times, routine equipment cleaning and sanitizing, and washing and sanitizing dishes and cooking utensils. This is a PRN, as-needed position with required availability Monday through Friday, 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The work location is Texas Health Dallas in Dallas, Texas.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Food Handlers Certificate (FHC) required within 30 days.
• Availability Monday through Friday, 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Responsibilities

• Serve food on cafeteria and patient tray lines.
• Assemble, deliver, and retrieve patient trays.
• Document food delivery times and perform simple record keeping.
• Routinely clean and sanitize equipment.
• Wash and sanitize dishes and cooking utensils.
• Perform other job duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Manager.
