About The Position
JJYS Food Service Worker II-Decker Lake Youth Center FT / PT Status – Full-Time Benefits Eligibility – This position is eligible for a full benefits package. Requirements
- A motivated individual who enjoys cooking, following recipes and providing nutritious food to our youth.
- Preference may be given to candidates who are 19 years of age or older
Responsibilities
- Cooks, bakes, or serves regular and/or special meals to clients and/or staff.
- Ensures that food is maintained at appropriate temperatures.
- Prepares salads and garnishes and assists in basic food preparation or ordering.
- Distributes food using appropriate food handling and sanitation techniques Practices of food safety and public health protection
- Maintains inventory
- Tracks receipts
- Cleans, sterilizes and or disinfects areas and/or equipment.
- Uses cleaning agents, products and equipment
