About The Position

Baptist Health is hiring a full-time Food Service Worker Dishwasher in Dietary. The role supports food preparation and service, dish room operations, and dining outlets while helping maintain quality, customer service, infection control, and food safety standards. The estimated pay range is $16.00–$18.38 per hour, depending on experience.

Requirements

• High school diploma, certificate of attendance, certificate of completion, GED, or equivalent training or experience.
• Food Safety Certification required within 90 days of job entry.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Minimum required experience: less than one year.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, assemble, and deliver patient meals in accordance with quality, service, infection control, and food safety standards.
• Deliver stock supplies to patient floor kitchens.
• Serve guests and maintain positive customer and guest relations.
• Replenish used foods and supplies.
• Complete sanitation duties.
• Perform dish room duties daily, as assigned.
• Collect payments for guest trays.
• Process food sales transactions in the cafeteria as a cashier, following established policies and procedures.
• Set up and serve meals for corporate retail, catering, the Doctors Dining Room, and other dining outlets.
• Decorate buffet and reception tables as assigned.
• Support high-quality food preparation and service, contributing to customer safety, comfort, and satisfaction.
