About The Position

The Sterilization Tech 3 is a lead Sterilization Technician for a service line, such as Robotics or Ortho. The role requires knowledge of sterilization supplies, equipment, and instruments. Duties include caring for, packaging, inspecting, cleaning, and processing surgical instrumentation, as well as inventorying and distributing equipment and supplies for the operating room. The estimated pay range is $21.03–$27.34 per hour, depending on experience.

Requirements

• High school diploma, certificate, GED, training, or experience required.
• At least 2 years of experience in packaging, inspecting, cleaning, and processing surgical instrumentation.
• Experience in Central Sterile as a Sterilization Technician.
• Minimum required experience: 2 years.

Nice To Haves

• Graduation from a Sterile Processing Department (SPD) or Surgical Tech training program preferred.
• Two years of experience, or one year with a specialty certification and graduation from an SPD or Surgical Tech training program, preferred.
• Extensive experience in Central Sterile as a Sterilization Technician.

Responsibilities
