About The Position

Unidine is hiring a part-time Food Service Utility associate at Connecticut Mental Health Center in New Haven, Connecticut. The role maintains kitchen work areas and keeps equipment and utensils clean and orderly. The schedule and hours may vary, and availability to work afternoons, evenings, and weekends is required. Prior food service experience is preferred but not required; the employer is willing to train. The position requires the ability to lift 50 pounds. The listed pay range is $17.00 to $17.50 per hour. Free employee parking and a free uniform are offered.

Requirements

• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Availability to work afternoons, evenings, and weekends is required.

Responsibilities

• Sweep and mop floors in compliance with safety and sanitation standards.
• Wash worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks, and other food preparation surfaces.
• Remove trash and place it in designated containers.
• Steam clean or hose out garbage cans.
• Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
• Assist with banquet table and front-of-house setup.
• Assist with loading, unloading, and delivering supplies and products.
• Distribute supplies, utensils, and portable equipment as needed.
• Comply with sanitation and safety requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
