About The Position

This role involves participating in food preparation and/or production for the department and others as directed. Following established procedures, you will prep, pack, and label food items according to the assigned production schedule. A key aspect of this role is ensuring that prep and food storage areas are maintained in a sanitary and orderly condition, meeting Health Department standards, and adhering to safe food handling procedures at the prep station, walk-in, and waste management areas. Proper storage and labeling are also critical components of this position.

Requirements

• Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks as assigned.
• Strong attention to detail skills, making sure products are properly portioned and labeled.
• Good time management skills, ability to stay on task with little direction.
• Weekend availability required.
• Able to work with all products required to satisfy the assigned production list including: vegetables, fruits, meats, dairy, nuts and grains.
