About The Position
The Food Service Partner supports food service operations at Scripps Memorial Hospital in La Jolla. The role supports safe food handling, meal assembly and portion control, customer service, and infection control and sanitation. The position follows established policies and procedures to ensure compliance with food and safety regulatory requirements and demonstrates age-specific care as established for the work area and job title. This is a full-time position with varied start times based on departmental needs and a varied schedule that includes weekends.
Requirements
- Have a San Diego County Food Handler Card or Food Safety Certificate, or be able to pass a Food Handlers test given by a certified manager or designee.
- Be able to speak, read, and write English.
Nice To Haves
- Six months of food service experience.
- Food service experience in a healthcare setting.
