Food Service Partner - PT - La Jolla
About The Position
This is a part-time, fully benefitted position at Scripps Memorial Hospital in La Jolla. The Food Service Partner supports food service operations, including safe food handling, meal assembly and portion control, customer service, and infection control and sanitation. The role follows established policies and procedures to comply with food safety and regulatory requirements and demonstrates age-specific care appropriate to the area and job title. The employee must be available for varied shifts, with start times based on departmental needs, and a varied schedule that includes weekends.
Requirements
- Have a San Diego County Food Handler Card or Food Safety Certificate, or be able to pass a Food Handlers test given by a certified manager or designee.
- Be able to speak, read, and write English.
- Be available to work varied shifts and schedules, including weekends.
Nice To Haves
- Six months of food service experience.
- Food service experience in a healthcare setting.
