Food Service Employee (5 hour)
About The Position
Arlington Heights School District 25 has an opening for a Food Service Employee at South Middle School. This is an IMRF position. The hours are 5 hours per day, Monday through Friday, from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm. The starting salary is $16.85 per hour. Effective July 1, 2023, districts are required to conduct an Employee History Review (EHR) of prior employers to determine if they have been the subject of a sexual misconduct allegation, been discharged, been asked to resign, or were disciplined due to an adjudication or finding of sexual misconduct. Applicants who are offered a position will be required to affirm that they are not disqualified from employment for these reasons and to authorize this review.
Requirements
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as production records, equipment manuals, HACCP documents and procedure manuals.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to speak effectively with staff, students and community members
Responsibilities

- Abide by all local and state health department regulations
- Attendance of professional development opportunities as needed to meet USDA Professional standard requirements.
- Communicate effectively with district personnel and students.
