About The Position

This is a 10-month, Non-Exempt position with terms of employment for 10 months. The salary scale is AFSCME UA5 G03-04. Requirements

• Sufficient education to have basic skills in reading, record keeping, and arithmetic.
• Demonstrated aptitude for successful performance of duties and responsibilities listed below.
• Ability to work rapidly and efficiently in a wide range of temperature conditions.
• Ability to follow written recipes and oral instruction.
• Knowledge of principles of sanitation and kitchen safety.
• Ability to work effectively with school personnel and students.
• Knowledge of and ability to work with a variety of chemicals and other agents.
• Ability to do heavy work (lift and carry approximately 30 pounds) on hard flooring for prolonged periods of time.
• High School Diploma

Nice To Haves

• Cook, food handling and/or cashier experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Food preparation.
• Food handling from preparation to serving.
• Collect money and/or meal tickets.
• Cleaning of equipment, utensils, and designated areas.
• Receiving and storage of food supplies.
• Regular on time attendance.
• Performs related duties as assigned by the manager.
