Lake Country Co-op invites applications for the position of Part-Time (15-24 hours) Food Services Cook/Clerk (2 positions) at our TJ’s/ Chester’s Spiritwood in our C-Store/Gas Bar location in Spiritwood, Saskatchewan. Requirements

Honest, trustworthy, results-oriented, and strive to be the best in the work that you do.
Well organized and capable of attaining a high level of production, with a minimum amount of supervision.
Experience with food preparation and food safety, or willingness to learn.
Ability to fulfill the physical job requirement including standing for entire shift and lifting up to 50 lbs.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, guest-facing environment.
Flexible work schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays.

Responsibilities

Demonstrate the day-to-day behaviors and actions that align with and strengthen Lake Country Co-operative’s vision, mission, and safety principles to make a difference in members lives, with a strong customer-focused approach.
Provide Legendary Service at all touch points through various communication channels.
Demonstrate a complete understanding of menu items and explain accurately to guests.
Prepare food neatly and according to standard recipes, package takeout orders, and ensure timely service.
Follow proper food handling, safety, and sanitation standards throughout food preparation, service, and cleanup.
Check and monitor product in food preparation area and restock items to ensure a sufficient supply throughout shift.
Use the Point of Sale (POS) system to enter orders, calculate bills, and provide change.
Operate manual and electric appliances, as well as other food preparation tools and equipment.
Support and follow Asset Protection and Safety Management systems, policies, and procedures.
Perform light paperwork duties, as assigned.
Perform all other duties, as assigned.
