About The Position
A Food Service Assistant in Henry Ford Health’s Food Service department serves the communities of Macomb County in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. The role supports patients, employees, and visitors by preparing and serving nutritious meals and helping provide a positive dining experience. The position also supports cashiering, diet office tasks, inventory and supply restocking, and dish room operations, while following food safety standards.
Requirements
- High school diploma, GED, or six months to one year of previous work experience in a food service or cash handling setting.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English and follow oral and written instructions.

- Personal computer and data entry skills.
