About The Position

Performs daily kitchen and cafeteria duties to maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for patients, residents, customers, and partners while providing quality service. Operates dishwashing equipment, washes pots and pans, and cleans and sanitizes kitchen equipment and work areas. Maintains cleanliness and organization while working efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Performs additional duties as assigned and remains flexible to work alternate shifts, weekends, holidays, and overtime during peak periods. Adapts to scheduling changes and work area assignments based on departmental and organizational needs. This is a part-time position. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Requirements

Responsibilities

Collect patient trays from rooms, stack dirty dishes on a cart, and return the cart to the kitchen.
Operate the dish machine.
Perform daily and weekly cleaning tasks.
Wash and sanitize dishes, pots, and pans.
Take and record equipment temperatures.
Clean and sanitize work areas, tables, and cabinets.
Collect garbage and trash and place it in designated containers.
Adhere to department safety and sanitation regulations.
Use protective barriers, including gloves, an apron, and proper hair coverings.
Perform additional duties as assigned and adapt to alternate shifts, weekends, holidays, overtime during peak periods, scheduling changes, and work area assignments as needed.
