Food Service Aide / Full Time
About The Position
Select Specialty Hospital is a critical illness recovery hospital providing inpatient post-ICU services to chronically and critically ill patients who need extended healing and recovery. The Food Service Aide performs patient food, dining room, and dish room services and supports food preparation, meal service, and cleanup. The role serves patients, families, staff, and visitors, works efficiently and maintains food-service quality, completes scheduled shift procedures, assists in other kitchen areas as needed, and operates equipment safely. The position is full-time in Erie, Pennsylvania, with compensation of $13.95–$17.00 per hour based on years of experience and a $750 sign-on bonus.

Responsibilities
- Perform patient food services, dining room services, and dish room services.
- Assist with food preparation and serve prepared food to patients, families, staff, and visitors.
- Assist with cleanup.
- Prepare food in a timely and efficient manner while providing high-quality preparation and service.
- Complete procedures scheduled during the shift without compromising work quality.
- Help in other areas of the kitchen when necessary.
- Operate equipment and perform related duties safely.
