About The Position
Saint Alphonsus Medical Center located in Boise is hiring a Food Service Associate to support the Food and Nutrition Services Department. This position is responsible for preparing and assembling food items for patients on regular and modified diets, cafeteria customers and for hospital patients. Delivers and retrieves patient food trays. Performs cleaning procedures on food service equipment and work areas. May be asked to shuttle food products to sites of off the main hospital campus.
Requirements
- Competency in basic reading and oral communication required.
- Must be able to operate equipment used by Food Service staff.
- Ability to disassemble and reassemble machines to keep equipment clean.
- If required to shuttle food products to off campus locations, a driver's license record will be required and a valid Idaho Driver's License.
Nice To Haves
- Previous food service experience helpful.
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
