About The Position
UF Health Rehabilitation Hospital, in affiliation with Select Medical in Gainesville, FL, is seeking a Food Service Aide. This is a Per Diem/Part-time position requiring 1-2 shifts per week. The shifts are from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm or 10:30 am to 7:00 pm, with some weekend requirements. The pay rate is $18.00 per hour.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent experience preferred
- Previous healthcare food service experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of patient food services, dining room services, and dish room services.
- Be an integral part of food preparations and serving prepared food to patients, families, staff, and visitors.
- Assist in clean up.
- Provide quality work, showing knowledge of the job and good decision-making.
- Be timely and efficient when preparing food.
- Provide high-quality food preparation and service.
- Complete all procedures scheduled during the shift without compromising the quality of work.
- Volunteer to help in other areas of the kitchen when necessary.
- Demonstrate reliability and dependability in your work.
- Operate equipment and perform related duties in a safe manner.
