About The Position

Join Presbyterian Healthcare Services as a team member performing routine food preparation and supporting timely, efficient meal service. You will also help maintain a clean and sanitary work environment in line with established standards. This is a full-time opportunity based at Presbyterian Kaseman Hospital, with a work shift during the day. As a Food Services Aide, you will assist with food preparation, support efficient meal service, and help maintain a clean and sanitary environment that promotes the health and well-being of our patients and residents. This role is ideal for detail-oriented individuals who enjoy teamwork and take pride in delivering quality service, offering a chance to make a meaningful impact in a healthcare setting.

Requirements

• No formal education required.
• Prior experience in food service is helpful but not required; candidates with less than one year of experience are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food according to standardized recipes and established procedures.
• Support timely and efficient meal service while ensuring quality and portion standards are met.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen equipment, work areas, and food service spaces in accordance with food safety regulations and organizational standards.
• Monitor and document daily records, including patient/resident meals, cafeteria meals, special events, and food temperatures.
• Operate a variety of food service and kitchen equipment safely and effectively.
• Follow food handling, safety, and infection prevention guidelines.
• Contribute to a positive team environment focused on excellent service and patient satisfaction.
