About The Position

The Food Server is responsible for monitoring guests’ needs on a continual basis, ensuring all requests are promptly filled. This role involves working as a team with other servers to provide excellent guest service, performing necessary side work such as polishing silverware and restocking items, and assisting with opening and closing duties for functions. The server will also perform bus person duties to clear tables, take and fill food and drink orders, and maintain the venue in a clean and neat manner while adhering to proper sanitation practices. Additionally, the server must maintain knowledge of property information, hours of operation, current promotions, and food products. This role requires upholding the Hard Rock Mission Statement and Values, representing the company positively, and following all guidelines.

Must be able to work all shifts, weekends, holidays, & special events (Banquet) as needed.

Responsibilities

Monitors guests’ needs on a continual basis, ensuring all requests are promptly filled.
Performs as a team with other servers to provide Rocking guest service.
Performs all necessary side work, including polishing and rolling silverware, restocking items, filling salt and pepper shakers, and cutting lemons.
Performs as a team with other rockers to produce a smoothly run function.
Performs bus person duties to clear tables when guests have completed their meals.
Assists with opening and closing the functions according to prescribed specifications.
Performs all necessary tasks to service guests, such as taking and filling all food and drink orders whenever necessary.
Maintains the venue in a clean and neat manner.
Maintains all proper sanitation practices.
Maintains knowledge of property information, including memorabilia.
Abides to Freeman Standards.
Knows hours of operation and current promotions.
Knows food products, food promotions, and food available on buffet stations.
Completes assigned side work duties; use of supplies, cleaning and organizing assigned areas.
Returns any lost and found articles to supervisor immediately.

Represents Hard Rock Biloxi in the most positive manner with guests, co-workers, managers, and vendors.
