About The Position

A Food Runner delivers prepared food from the kitchen to guests quickly and accurately while supporting servers and maintaining a clean, organized dining area. The position is full-time, non-exempt, based in New Orleans, Louisiana, pays $14 per hour, and reports to the F&B Manager. Previous restaurant or customer-service experience is helpful but not always required. Evening, weekend, and holiday availability may be required.

Responsibilities

Deliver food orders from the kitchen to the correct tables promptly.
Verify that each order is complete, accurate, and properly presented before leaving the kitchen.
Communicate with servers, kitchen staff, and management about special requests or missing items.
Assist servers with clearing, resetting, and maintaining tables as needed.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of food service areas.
Follow food safety, sanitation, and restaurant procedures.
Help restock plates, utensils, condiments, and other service supplies.
Provide friendly and professional service to guests when delivering food.
Assist with other restaurant duties as assigned.
