The Food Runner position at Farraddays involves high-volume customer interactions, requiring a consistently outgoing, upbeat, and cheerful demeanor. The role demands maintaining a pleasant, friendly, and welcoming attitude towards all customers, both external and internal. Responsibilities include setting up and breaking down assigned work stations, maintaining their cleanliness, and ensuring they are fully stocked, especially during peak business hours. The Food Runner must be able to inform customers about ingredients when asked, cover cashiers during breaks, take guest orders, and answer questions about food items, offering recommendations as needed. This role also involves clearing dirty dishes from tables using trays, assisting hosts with seating guests, and resetting tables after clearing. Additional duties include rolling silverware, setting up food stations or dining areas for the next shift or large parties, and accurately setting up and cleaning up after banquet functions. The Food Runner will efficiently serve all food and beverage items for banquet functions, including plated and buffet dining and bar items, while possessing knowledge of customer alcohol limitations and company policies regarding them. A thorough understanding of all casino events and promotional activities is also required, with assistance as needed. The role requires keeping the work area clean and orderly and adhering to all regulatory, departmental, and Company policies ethically. A flexible schedule is necessary, including late nights, weekends, and holidays, with potential shift changes. Building guest relations through conversation, making them feel welcome and comfortable, and inviting them back is a key aspect of the role. Other duties may be assigned by management.
