About The Position

The Food Runner at Hilton Omaha supports food and beverage service by maintaining buffet supplies and delivering memorable guest experiences. The role involves stocking and replenishing hot and cold buffet items, monitoring food quality, transporting items to and from the kitchen, maintaining clean and organized buffet spaces, storing food and dry goods according to applicable standards, and following health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness regulations. Responsibilities

• Stock and replenish food and beverage items for hot and cold buffets.
• Monitor food quality to ensure buffet items remain fresh and appealing.
• Transport items efficiently to and from the kitchen.
• Keep the buffet area tidy and organized throughout service.
• Break down the buffet after service, then clean and reset the area.
• Store food and dry goods according to food safety and storage standards.
• Comply with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness regulations.
