About The Position

The Food Runner at AVEO Table + Bar at Waldorf Astoria Monarch Beach Resort and Club supports food and beverage service by replenishing buffet items, maintaining food quality and cleanliness, transporting items to and from the kitchen, and storing food and dry goods safely. The role follows applicable health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol-awareness regulations to support the well-being of guests and team members. The resort is located in Dana Point, California, and has 400-plus rooms and eight food and beverage outlets.

Responsibilities

• Stock and replenish food and beverage items for hot and cold buffets.
• Monitor food quality to ensure items remain fresh and appealing.
• Transport items to and from the kitchen efficiently.
• Keep buffet areas tidy and organized during service.
• Break down, clean, and reset buffet areas after service.
• Store food and dry goods according to food safety and storage standards.
• Comply with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol-awareness regulations.
