About The Position

The Food Runner is responsible for assisting servers by cleaning tables, maintaining side stations, and supporting the kitchen with expediting service to ensure a smooth flow throughout the dining room. This role is crucial to the success of our team and contributes to a positive guest experience.

Requirements

Ability to describe menu items accurately.
Ability to answer menu questions, including specials, beverage menu, and wine menu.
Ability to set-up/replenish side station with polished china, glassware and silverware throughout the shift.
Ability to set-up/replenish side station with ice, dry goods, paper products, juices, cut fruits, and garnishes throughout the shift.
Ability to maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the shift.
Ability to fully understand and comply with all federal, state, county and municipal regulations that pertain to health, safety, and labor requirements of the restaurant, employees and guests.
Ability to notify management of maintenance repair issues.
Ability to complete other job-related duties as requested by management.

Responsibilities

Assist food servers and bus persons with cleaning and resetting tables.
Perform all assigned side work duties and maintain restaurant cleanliness according to health code standards.
Accurately describe menu items using proper verbiage.
Answer menu questions, including specials, beverage menu, and wine menu.
Set up and replenish side stations with polished china, glassware, silverware, ice, dry goods, paper products, juices, cut fruits, and garnishes throughout the shift.
Maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the shift.
Fully understand and comply with all federal, state, county, and municipal regulations pertaining to health, safety, and labor requirements.
Notify management of any maintenance or repair issues.
Complete other job-related duties as requested by management.
