About The Position

The Food Runner is primarily responsible for assisting servers by cleaning tables and maintaining side stations, as well as aiding the kitchen in expediting the service process to ensure a smooth flow of service throughout the dining room. This role is crucial to the success of our team and contributes to the overall guest experience.

Requirements

Minimum six (6) months of related experience required.
Able to work a varied work schedule to include nights, weekends, and holidays.
Must be able to communicate effectively with guests in English, specific to position duties and responsibilities.
Must hold or have the ability to obtain a Casino Employee Registration.

Responsibilities

Assist food servers and bus persons with cleaning and resetting tables.
Perform all assigned side work duties and maintain restaurant cleanliness according to health code standards.
Accurately describe menu items using proper verbiage.
Answer menu questions, including those about specials, beverages, and wine.
Set up and replenish side stations with polished china, glassware, silverware, ice, dry goods, paper products, juices, cut fruits, and garnishes throughout the shift.
Maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the shift.
Fully understand and comply with all federal, state, county, and municipal regulations pertaining to health, safety, and labor requirements.
Notify management of any maintenance or repair issues.
Complete other job-related duties as requested by management.
