Food Runner - Lucky Bastard Saloon
About The Position
The Food Runner ensures that prepared food is delivered accurately and urgently to the correct table, and checks that food meets company specifications. The role serves as a liaison between expeditors and line cooks and servers and guests. Food Runners also assist guests with special needs, particularly during meal delivery. The successful candidate is enthusiastic, friendly, organized, team-oriented, and works with a sense of urgency. Other associated duties may be assigned. Hours may vary, and team members must be available for a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Requirements
- Hold all certifications and licenses required by local Health Department and/or Alcoholic Beverage Commission statutes.
- Be able to work in a team environment.
- Be able to stand and walk for up to eight or more hours and navigate throughout the restaurant.
- Be able to lift 10–30 pounds.
- Be able to push, pull, stretch, bend, stoop, twist, and continuously use fingers and wrists bilaterally.
- Be able to visually discern cleanliness, safety, and food quality.
- Be highly organized and have an excellent personality with guests.
- Be able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Responsibilities

- Quickly identify whether food has been prepared to company specifications.
- Act as a liaison between expeditors and line cooks and servers and guests.
- Assist guests with special needs, particularly at meal delivery.
- Perform other associated duties as assigned.
