About The Position

Farmer’s Fridge makes fruits and vegetables accessible and approachable for everyone. We offer a variety of fresh, healthy, ready-to-eat meals and snacks through our vending machines, wholesale partners, and office pantry solutions. As a team member of the Sanitation Team, you will be responsible for washing and sanitizing tools, Lexan tubs, bus tubs and other items in the Dishwashing Room using a large commercial dishwashing machine and other methods. Keeping our utensils clean is a crucial part of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).

Requirements

Able to stand and work for long periods of time (8+ hour shifts) in a cold environment (around 40 degrees) and in a hot environment.
Must be able and willing to work in refrigerated coolers (~38⁰F).
Able to lift 25-50 lbs.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English Preferred).

Responsibilities

Washing and sanitizing tools, Lexan tubs, bus tubs and other items in the Dishwashing Room using a large commercial dishwashing machine and other methods.
Being the first point of contact on the floor for the Sanitation Team.
Verifying daily sanitation activities are completed and documented as needed.
Training new hires and supporting cross-training for other employees.
Executing research, data collection and special projections as delegated by the Sanitation supervisor.
Keeping the Chemical Room and supplies organized and communicating needs to the Sanitation supervisor.
Providing backup coverage for the Sanitation Supervisor as needed.
Supporting master sanitation and emergency projects as needed (e.g., drain backups, spills).
