About The Position

Sodexo is seeking a Food Production Manager 3 for Vail Health in Vail, Colorado. The Food Production Manager will oversee general kitchen management, retail food areas, and catering for the medical campus. This strategic leader will come with a background in culinary leadership.

Requirements

  • A strong culinary background in restaurants, hotels, resorts, etc.
  • Kitchen management experience
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Proficient computer skills, highly organized, and detail-focused
  • Understanding of HAACP and ServSafe Certified
  • Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
  • 2 years minimum management experience
  • 1 year minimum functional experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee kitchen, retail food, and catering for the medical campus
  • Help implement and standardize all culinary systems and procedures
  • Supervise, develop, and mentor frontline staff
  • Assist with scheduling and time-keeping
  • Help create menus based on client needs
  • Help create interpersonal relationships with clients
