About The Position

Sodexo is seeking a Food Production Manager for the United States Marine Corps at Marine Corps Bridgeport in Bridgeport, CA. The Production Manager will report directly to the General Manager and will be responsible for day-to-day oversight of all culinary operations for one of it's Mess Halls. The United States Marine Corps has high quality level food service expectations, and this account will require delivery of exceptional quality food service. Within Government Services, contract compliance is critical; food safety and customer service are high priorities. Extensive safety audits and customer surveys are conducted at each unit on a weekly basis. Sodexo offers innovative and healthy concepts while keeping to a strict profit and loss financial statement. Requirements

Work history demonstrating strong employee engagement and leadership skills
Previous supervisory experience
Ability to work collaboratively
Strong background in safety and sanitation compliance
High volume food service experience
Can manage multiple priorities
Demonstrate professional communication skills
Passion for a high level of customer service
Prioritize tasks and exhibit flexibility to take on additional responsibilities as needed
Minimum Education Requirement - High School Diploma or GED or Equivalent
Minimum Management Experience - 1 year
