About The Position

The Commissary Kitchen, or Food Lab, is a high-volume food production facility on Madison's east side that serves all of our Wisconsin restaurant locations. We're hiring part-time and full-time Food Production Cooks to join the team ASAP! Working on the Production team, you'll prepare sauces, dressings, meats, and vegetables for our restaurant locations while ensuring accurate packaging and labeling. We have a high standard for cleanliness and quality, so you'll need to follow instructions and protocols carefully. This is a high-volume production kitchen - be ready to do things like prepare and grill pounds of chicken for hours! The team will support you and add some fun along the way.

Requirements

• Team player who brings high effort and a positive attitude.
• Able to be on your feet, walking and standing, for long periods.
• Able to lift up to 30lbs regularly and up to 50lbs occasionally.
• Able to work independently, comfortable with routine, repetitive tasks.
• Comfortable using equipment of the business and being exposed to temperature changes.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from work for early start times.
• Must be 18+ years of age or older.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. (IDs required at Orientation).

Nice To Haves

• Available to work 1-2 afternoon shifts per week (12PM - 8PM on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays).
• Available to work 2 Saturday shifts per month (6AM - 2PM).

Responsibilities

• Prepare sauces, dressings, meats, and vegetables for restaurant locations.
• Ensure accurate packaging and labeling of prepared food items.
• Follow instructions and protocols carefully to maintain high standards of cleanliness and quality.
• Prepare and grill pounds of chicken for hours.
