About The Position

Sensient Technologies is seeking a Food Manufacturing Operator to support production of food and beverage ingredients in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. The work may include mixing, cooking, packaging, palletizing, and operating production equipment. The operator helps ensure safe, efficient operations and produces high-quality products by following recipes, operating instructions, batch documentation, and food safety requirements. Forklift training is provided. The role is for 2nd and 3rd shifts.

Requirements

Ability and willingness to work overtime, including Saturdays when scheduled.
Strong attention to detail and flexibility to perform a variety of production tasks.
Interest in manufacturing and a desire to contribute to a high-performing production team.
Willingness to learn new skills and continuously improve processes.

Nice To Haves

Previous manufacturing or food production experience is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

Run, oversee, and fine-tune production and packaging equipment to support safe, efficient operations.
Follow recipe cards, operating instructions, and batch documentation to ensure accuracy and consistency.
Measure and load ingredients, package finished products, and palletize goods for shipment.
Complete equipment start-up, shutdown, and cleaning tasks according to established procedures.
Operate a forklift safely in the manufacturing facility; training is provided.
Keep work areas clean and organized while complying with company policies and food safety requirements.
