About The Position

The Manufacturing Operator performs inspection, secondary operations, and packaging of injection-molded or blow-molded plastic products. Operators are responsible for the quality of products they inspect, handle, assemble, and package. The role requires following production documentation and workstation requirements, using production tools and equipment safely, and meeting cycle-time targets where applicable. The position is full-time and available on first, second, and third shifts.

Requirements

Basic literacy and math skills.
Ability to comprehend written and verbal directions.
Computer understanding and operation.
Work experience operating production equipment.
Experience using hand tools.
Experience packaging parts.
Experience with quality control and maintaining visual standards.
Ability to lift at least 30 pounds.
Ability to stand for at least 7.5 hours.
Ability to reach overhead and bend below waist level as needed for the job.
Flexibility in working hours.

Responsibilities

Perform assigned daily activities in accordance with required documentation, including SOPs, WIs, and OP INS.
Recognize types of plastic defects and use the correct terminology to demonstrate understanding.
Separate and contain nonconforming products or defects away from good production according to workstation requirements.
Safely and efficiently use tools and equipment required for production processes.
Use basic IQMS functions and understand the Real Time Screen.
Keep the current job within cycle-time targets, when applicable.
Perform tasks assigned by Quality Leaders, Supervisors, and/or Production Managers.
Perform end-of-shift housekeeping duties.
Demonstrate competency in applicable requirements from ISO 9001, AS9100, and ISO 13485 standards.
Inspect, handle, assemble, and package products while maintaining product quality.
