Food Manufacturing Operator – 2nd & 3rd Shifts
About The Position
Sensient Technologies is hiring a Food Manufacturing Operator to support production of food and beverage ingredients in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. The work may include mixing, cooking, packaging, palletizing, and operating production equipment. The role is offered for 2nd and 3rd shifts. The operator runs, oversees, and fine-tunes production and packaging equipment; follows recipe cards, operating instructions, and batch documentation; measures and loads ingredients; packages finished products; and palletizes goods for shipment. The position also includes equipment start-up, shutdown, and cleaning, safe forklift operation (training provided), and keeping work areas clean and organized in compliance with company policies and food safety requirements. Requirements
- Ability and willingness to work overtime, including Saturdays when scheduled.
- Strong attention to detail and flexibility to perform a variety of production tasks.
- Interest in manufacturing and desire to contribute to a high-performing production team.
- Willingness to learn new skills and continuously improve processes.

- Previous manufacturing or food production experience is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Run, oversee, and fine-tune production and packaging equipment to support safe, efficient operations.
- Follow recipe cards, operating instructions, and batch documentation to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Measure and load ingredients, package finished products, and palletize goods for shipment.
- Complete equipment start-up, shutdown, and cleaning tasks according to established procedures.
- Safely operate a forklift in a fast-paced manufacturing facility; training is provided.
- Keep work areas clean and organized while complying with company policies and food safety requirements.
