About The Position

The Food Hall Kitchen Helper cleans and sanitizes kitchen dishes, glassware, silverware, flatware, pots, pans, trays, equipment, and surfaces. The role also involves sweeping and mopping kitchen floors and disposing of waste in designated areas. The schedule is 7 p.m.–3 a.m. on Fridays and Saturdays, and 4 p.m.–12 a.m. on Sundays, Mondays, and Thursdays.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be able to stand and/or walk for the duration of the shift.
• Must be knowledgeable about proper chemicals and techniques used in the course of job duties.
• Must be able to maneuver up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain any necessary licenses and/or certifications.

Responsibilities

• Sanitize and clean dishes, glassware, silverware, and flatware by hand or using an automatic dishwasher.
• Wash pots, pans, and trays.
• Sweep and mop kitchen floors.
• Maintain the cleanliness of kitchen equipment and surfaces.
• Dispose of waste in designated waste areas.
