About The Position

The Food Busser is responsible for maintaining a clean and sanitary dining environment, ensuring guest satisfaction, and supporting the wait staff. This role involves moving with urgency to clear tables, stocking supplies, interacting with guests, and maintaining various areas of the restaurant. The position also requires adherence to safety practices and providing a positive guest experience.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years older
• Valid California Food Handler required before first day

Responsibilities

• Cleans and clears tables of used glassware, plate ware, silverware, etc.
• Prepares and maintains dining room by stocking all necessary supplies throughout shift.
• Interacts with guests as they arrive and leave the restaurant to ensure a positive dining experience.
• Maintains walkways, common areas, wait stations, and restrooms.
• Keeps a clean and sanitary bussing station.
• Completes all opening, running, and closing duties as assigned.
• Maintains table settings by removing finished courses and replenishing utensils.
• Supports wait staff by assisting with food delivery and retrieval of supplies.
• Moves tables, chairs, and floor plans as needed.
• Promotes and provides extraordinary guest service for both internal and external guests.
• Answers questions, offers information, and provides assistance in a courteous manner.
• Understands and demonstrates the proper use of safety practices and ensures department standards are maintained and safety policies are upheld.
• Monitors and maintains a safe and secure environment for both team members and guests.
• Identifies, de-escalates, and resolves conflicts or disturbances professionally and effectively.
• Provides a positive and welcoming experience for guests while maintaining composure during difficult interactions.
• Maintains a high level of trust and integrity to promote a safe, secure, and welcoming environment.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
