About The Position

CityWalk Foods is seeking a Bartender to join their team. This role involves processing food and beverage orders, preparing and serving drinks, and ensuring a positive guest experience. The Bartender will operate cash registers, handle payments, maintain the bar area, and adhere to all safety and sanitation regulations. This position offers opportunities for growth and building friendships within a dynamic entertainment environment.

Requirements

• Must be 21 years older
• Valid California Food Handler required before first day

Responsibilities

• Process guests' food and beverage orders and upsell products.
• Pour wine, serve draft and bottled beer, and mix drinks and beverages to recipe.
• Check guests' identification to ensure they are of legal drinking age.
• Comply with all food and beverage regulations.
• Operate cash registers, collect payments from guests, and return change.
• Practice proper cash handling procedures.
• Maintain work areas by organizing and cleaning the bar, tables, and service well.
• Pre-bus tables and bar top as needed.
• Complete all opening, running, and closing duties as assigned.
• Manage bar operation and orders and maintain liquor and bar supplies throughout the shift.
• Adhere to opening and closing procedures, including setting up and breaking down the venue.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized bar area.
• Prep fruit garnishes, stock, clean, put away product, or discard waste as needed.
• Promote and provide extraordinary guest service.
• Answer questions, offer information, and provide assistance in a courteous manner.
• Understand and demonstrate the proper use of safety practices and ensure department standards are maintained and safety policies are upheld.
• Balance cash drawers at the beginning and end of each shift.
• Provide excellent customer service by assisting guests with inquiries, resolving complaints, and addressing concerns related to cash transactions.
• Collaborate with team members and management to ensure a compliant, efficient, and secure cash-handling process.
• Monitor and maintain a safe and secure environment for both team members and guests.
• Identify, de-escalate, and resolve conflicts or disturbances professionally and effectively.
• Provide a positive and welcoming experience for guests of all ages while maintaining composure during difficult interactions.
• Maintain a high level of trust and integrity to promote a safe, secure, and welcoming environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
