About The Position

The Food and Beverage Manager oversees the hotel’s food and beverage operations, including banquets and the restaurant. The role supervises the main restaurant, cocktail lounge, banquets, and food ordered through room service. The manager recruits and trains staff, maintains an inventory of food supplies, handles customer complaints, and prepares menus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily Front of the House and Back of the House food and beverage operations.
• Respond efficiently and accurately to customer complaints.
• Organize and supervise shifts.
• Appraise staff performance and provide feedback to improve productivity.
• Control operational costs and identify measures to reduce waste.
• Create detailed reports on weekly, monthly, and annual revenues and expenses.
• Recruit and train staff.
• Maintain an inventory of food supplies.
• Prepare menus.
• Supervise the hotel’s main restaurant, cocktail lounge, banquets, and room service food operations.
