The Food & Beverage Attendant is responsible for communicating any assistance needed during busy periods to the Manager On Duty to ensure optimum services. This role involves notifying the manager if a product does not meet specifications, checking and ensuring the correctness of the temperature of appliances and food, and monitoring the quantity of food prepared and the portions served. The attendant ensures proper portion, arrangement, and food garnish to be served, and serves food in proper portions onto the proper receptacle. Key duties also include setting up, cleaning, and breaking down workstations, washing and disinfecting the kitchen area including tables, tools, knives, and equipment, preparing ingredients for cooking (portioning, chopping, storing), and washing and peeling fresh fruits and vegetables. The role also involves preparing and cooking food, operating ovens and microwaves, and ensuring compliance with food safety and handling policies. The Food & Beverage Attendant is expected to welcome and greet guests, anticipate and address their needs, interact professionally with colleagues and guests, contribute to team goals, and always follow company policies and safety procedures.
