About The Position

The Food & Beverage Associate assists the Food and Beverage team in providing excellent customer service and meeting customer needs efficiently and promptly at The Ripken Experience Pigeon Forge, a youth baseball sports complex in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. The role works under the direct supervision of the Food and Beverage Manager and supports the operation of the grill and concession stands.

• Reliable transportation.
• Outstanding customer service skills and an excellent service attitude.
• Ability to follow instructions from any full-time staff member.
• Willingness and ability to learn and take responsibility for new tasks as assigned.
• Ability to be accountable, follow through on commitments, produce timely work to required standards, and pitch in to complete tasks.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Ability and willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds or more.

Responsibilities

• Maintain concession and grill assets, including proper food handling and equipment.
• Provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary environment in the grill and concession stand.
• Use equipment such as a flat-top grill, deep fryer, oven, stove, and dishwasher properly.
• Operate a point-of-sale (POS) system.
• Manage and maintain daily cost of sales, cash control, and inventory.
• Provide the Food and Beverage Manager with feedback, ideas, and suggestions in a timely manner.
