About The Position

Perform administrative duties supporting the Food & Beverage Division of the hotel.

Requirements

  • High school education or equivalent experience is required.
  • Minimum one year of administrative experience preferably in a hospitality or restaurant related field or other equivalent experience is required.
  • Requires working knowledge of food and beverage operations as well as Four Seasons cultural and core standards, policies, and standard operating procedures.
  • Proficient in all Microsoft programs to include but not limited to: PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook.
  • Exceptional organizational skills
  • Attention to detail and able to multitask
  • Must be able to type 50 + wpm
  • High level of emotional intelligence and social EQ
  • Work well under pressure, requires multitasking and being a team player
  • A strategic thinker
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English.
  • US work authorization is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Bi-lingual skills are preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Receive and respond to incoming telephone calls in accordance with Four Seasons Standards and assist with overflow calls for Food & Beverage.
  • Prepare accurate written correspondence including letters, contracts, reports, schedule of events, printed menus, and e-mails using MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and MS Excel.
  • Maintain files, schedules, and calendars for F&B Management Team; coordinate, set and confirm interviews and appointments.
  • Assist in completing special projects which may include mailings, competitive surveys, menus or other assigned duties; maintain and order office supplies.
  • Assist in making restaurant reservations and catering inquiries.
  • Maintain policy and standard manuels; update and distribute as necessary.
  • Comply with Four Seasons standards for Food and Beverage, while working harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and Planning Committee.
  • Respond according to the crisis management plan to any resort emergency or safety situation.
  • Comply with Four Seasons Category One and Two Work Rules and Standards of Conduct as set forth in EmPact.
  • Perform other tasks or projects as assigned by hotel management.
  • Maintain an inventory of all standard department supplies and printed materials.
  • Participate in scheduled departmental and administrative meetings as requested.
