About The Position

Pyramid Global Hospitality is hiring a Food and Beverage Supervisor at the StateView Hotel, part of the Marriott Autograph Collection. The supervisor assists with leadership of the Food and Beverage operation, working to meet financial and quality goals and ensure effective, efficient operations. The role is responsible for maintaining service and product standards and managing in line with the organization’s mission, operating philosophy, standards, and values. The StateView Hotel has 164 guest rooms and 8,000 square feet of event space.

Requirements

• Previous experience working at a restaurant in a luxury hotel and/or full-service resort.
• Knowledge of Micros.
• Ability to make quick decisions in high-stress situations.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Pleasant and positive personality.
• Well organized.

Responsibilities

• Attend weekly meetings and relay information about upcoming events to supervised staff.
• Share information about the operation’s capabilities and programs with other departments, clients, and potential clients.
• Respond to the needs and requests of guests and potential guests.
• Ensure food, beverage, and service quality standards are implemented and maintained at a level commensurate with a first-class operation.
• Implement effective cost controls for food, beverage, and labor.
• Use systems for inventory, receiving, and product utilization and cost management.
• Lead by following productivity standards for Food and Beverage personnel.
• Create a comfortable atmosphere that encourages committed and loyal employees.
• Assist with hiring and training programs for Food and Beverage personnel.
• Assist other Food and Beverage outlets as needed.
