PT Food and Beverage Attendant (SCCF)
About The Position
The Food and Beverage Attendant / Server provides hospitality to residents and guests in a team-oriented community dining environment. The role includes waiting tables, taking orders, setting and bussing tables, serving food, and keeping the dining room pleasant and orderly. The attendant also assists with dishwashing and food preparation, stocks supplies, enters transactions into the point-of-sale system, and completes other shift duties. They are expected to know menu items and specials, document mealtime transactions according to Civitas policies and procedures, respond to residents’ and guests’ dining needs, and follow sanitation, food-handling, regulatory, and other food and beverage protocols. Experience is a plus but is not required; a positive attitude and willingness to learn are emphasized. Employment is contingent on completing screening required by state regulations, and residency in the state where the community operates is required.

Responsibilities
- Deliver hospitality and service in a team-oriented setting.
- Wait tables, take orders, set and bus tables, and serve food.
- Maintain a pleasant appearance and cleanliness of the dining room.
- Assist with dishwashing and food preparation.
- Complete shift duties, including stocking, point-of-sale entries, and dining room arrangement.
- Learn menu items and specials to answer diners’ questions.
- Record mealtime transactions according to Civitas policies and procedures.
- Interact with residents and guests and respond to their dining needs.
- Follow sanitation, food-handling procedures, regulatory requirements, and food and beverage protocols.
