About The Position

This position is responsible for providing exceptional customer service while supporting the operation of the Food and Beverage Department. The ideal candidate is friendly, outgoing, and enjoys working in a fun environment, particularly if they have an interest in video games, bowling, or karaoke. Open availability, especially for night shifts and weekends, is preferred. The role involves various duties to ensure smooth operation of the food and beverage services and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Must be 21+ to handle alcohol.
• Open availability, especially night shift and weekends are preferred.
• A minimum of one to two years of experience in a hospitality or retail environment.
• Ability to bend, stretch, twist, climb, and have a high level of mobility/flexibility in small spaces.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods without breaks during busy times.
• Ability to use hands/fingers to handle, feel, and reach with hands and arms.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 100 lbs. with assistance.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a bowling establishment is preferred.
• Bartending experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operates POS register for food and drinks, including the bar register when directed.
• Prepares food and beverage items according to company policies and standards.
• Resets and buses the food court seating area.
• Washes and dries dishes, glasses, and other cooking/food prep utensils.
• Conducts all opening and closing procedures, including opening and closing cash tills and kitchen cleaning.
• Manages food and beverage inventory according to store policies and procedures.
• Maintains proper temperature for refrigerators and freezers.
• Manages inventory of plates, cups, and other utensils according to store policies.
• Conducts restroom checks and cleaning, including laundry of rags.
• Responds responsively and politely to customer requests with a friendly demeanor.
• Occasionally operates POS system to collect payments and allocate bowling lanes.
• Occasionally operates POS system to collect payments and lends out facility and equipment (Karaoke, billiards, darts, ping pong).
• Occasionally operates POS system to collect payments and issues cards and credits for arcade.
• Conducts alcohol and age restriction control by company policies.
• Conducts lost and found procedures according to company policies.
• Seeks constant improvement or more efficient and less expensive ways and means in department work processes.
• Compiles and maintains confidentiality of all company policies and procedures.
• Responsible for maintaining a clean and safe working area.
