About The Position

Round One Entertainment is hiring a Food and Beverage Associate to support day-to-day operations of its Yuu Japanese Food Hall, which may have up to 14 stalls specializing in different styles of Japanese cuisine. The associate helps provide customer service, maintain cleanliness, and keep stall operations efficient while following food-safety and organizational standards.

The role includes operating point-of-sale registers, preparing and serving food and beverages, supporting kitchen and restocking tasks, cleaning shared seating areas, completing opening and closing duties, monitoring equipment temperature logs, and managing food, dish, utensil, and cleaning-supply inventory. Associates may cross-train across food hall stalls and, occasionally, assist the Amusement & Bowling department with POS transactions. Open availability, especially nights and weekends, is preferred.

Requirements

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-stall setting and adapt quickly.
• Positive team attitude and flexibility to rotate across stalls and functions.
• Ability to bend, stretch, twist, climb, and move with a high level of mobility and flexibility in small spaces.
• Ability to stand and walk for extensive periods without breaks during busy times.
• Ability to use hands and fingers to handle, feel, and reach with hands and arms.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 100 pounds with assistance.

Nice To Haves

• Open availability, especially nights and weekends.
• 1–2 years of experience in food halls, food courts, or high-volume food and beverage environments.
• Working knowledge of or hands-on experience with Japanese cuisine.
• Prior experience in back-of-house operations, kitchen preparation, or cross-functional food and beverage roles.

Responsibilities

• Operate POS registers at assigned stalls and accurately handle food, drink, and alcohol transactions.
• Prepare and serve Japanese food and beverages according to stall-specific SOPs, company policies, and standards.
• Support back-of-house operations, including food preparation, dishwashing, and restocking.
• Reset and clean shared food hall seating areas and maintain cleanliness in common spaces.
• Complete opening and closing duties, such as cash handling, kitchen preparation and cleanup, and equipment checks.
• Monitor and manage temperature logs for refrigerators, freezers, and hot-holding equipment.
• Manage food and beverage inventory according to store policies and procedures.
• Manage inventory of dishes, utensils, and cleaning supplies at each stall.
• Perform regular restroom checks and sanitation duties, including laundering cleaning cloths.
• Respond promptly and professionally to customer questions or concerns.
• Cross-train to assist other stalls and food hall sections during peak hours or staff shortages.
• Occasionally cross-train to assist the Amusement & Bowling department with POS transactions.
• Follow food safety, allergen, and hygiene procedures.
• Enforce alcohol service laws and age restrictions.
• Participate in food hall lost-and-found protocols.
• Seek continuous improvement in food stall workflows and service.
• Follow up on assigned tasks and maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Maintain high ethical standards, report irregularities to management, and maintain confidentiality of company policies and procedures.
• Support other departments or stalls when needed.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities assigned by Department and Store Management.
