About The Position

King’s Hawaiian is hiring a Front of House Bakery and Restaurant Team Member to provide customer service in its bakery and restaurant. The role greets customers, takes and explains food and bakery orders, handles phone orders, and enters orders into the POS system. It also involves operating and balancing a cash register, addressing customer concerns with management, maintaining sanitation and cleanliness, restocking restrooms, and helping in bakery and kitchen departments as needed.

The position requires clear English communication, basic math and logical reasoning, readiness to work, and the ability to balance multiple tasks in a time-constrained environment. The assigned schedule may include nights, weekends, holidays, and extended hours when required. Compensation is $16.90 per hour plus tips.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers with an Aloha spirit.
• Take customer orders and explain dishes and bakery items.
• Answer phones, take orders, and enter them into the POS system while providing excellent customer service.
• Identify customer issues or complaints and report them to management.
• Operate the cash register, follow sales and cash-handling procedures, and balance the register at the end of each shift.
• Advise management when guests request cash refunds or credits for returned merchandise.
• Follow sanitation guidelines prescribed by the health department.
• Assist in bakery and kitchen departments as needed.
• Restock restrooms and complete other assigned cleaning duties.
