Foam Molding Operator (1st Shift)
About The Position
Alexandria Industries is hiring a Foam Molding Operator to produce molded foam parts that meet customer specifications and quality standards. The operator paints, trims, inspects, and finishes products while following established production processes, helping ensure customers receive quality parts produced safely and efficiently. This is a full-time, first-shift position in Wheaton, Minnesota, scheduled Monday through Thursday from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with pay of $18.00 to $24.40 per hour. Alexandria Industries has made custom aluminum extrusions since 1966 and is headquartered in Alexandria, Minnesota, with plants in Minnesota and Indiana. Requirements
- Ability to recognize and respond to safety concerns.
- Basic math skills.
- Written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and make decisions in a production environment.
- Ability to learn processes through on-the-job training.
- Ability to frequently handle and carry items up to 20 pounds and occasionally up to 40 pounds; items over 40 pounds require a team lift or crane.
- Ability to work around dust, fumes, odors, loud noise, and moving equipment in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities
- Paint and trim molded foam products to customer specifications.
- Follow templates and work instructions for paint patterns and material changeovers.
- Inspect parts and follow quality standards throughout the production process.
- Support daily production needs and help prioritize work within the department.
- Work closely with team members to maintain efficient production flow.
