About The Position
AWC OK is seeking two detail-oriented and empathetic dual-certified PMHNP/FNP providers to evaluate patients and prescribe medications as part of a treatment team with licensed counselors. The patients receive care for substance use disorders and mental health disorders. The prescribing nurse is also responsible for reporting patient treatment information. AWC works inside multiple substance abuse treatment facilities at various levels of care. This position is based in one detox/residential substance use disorder facility and operates Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The ideal candidate works cooperatively with supervisory counseling staff and demonstrates a non-judgmental, accepting attitude toward patients. AWC describes itself as a progressive substance abuse and mental health treatment organization committed to high-quality patient care in a comfortable outpatient clinic setting. Its goal is to address the physical, emotional, and mental aspects of patients’ disorders to support long-term recovery and an improved quality of life.
Requirements
- PMHNP license for Oklahoma (required).
- Family Nurse Practitioner or Adult Health Nurse Practitioner qualification for Oklahoma (required).
- Detail-oriented and empathetic approach.
- Non-judgmental and accepting attitude toward patients.
