About The Position
Falcon Farms is hiring a part-time Flower Merchandiser to maintain attractive floral displays at assigned stores in the Austin South West area. The role represents Falcon Farms in each store and involves working independently while collaborating with clients and local teams to create appealing displays and optimize inventory. A planned route and tools are provided. The schedule is Monday through Friday, with hours listed as 7:00 a.m.–10:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m.–3:00 p.m. The position pays $17.00 per hour and requires availability during peak season from November to May, including support for major floral holidays.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Ability to read, write, and understand instructions in English.
- Reliable transportation to assigned locations.
- Internet access and a smartphone.
- Availability to work during peak season from November to May.
- Ability to frequently lift and move boxes weighing up to 40 pounds.
- Ability to bend, stretch, and lift products above shoulder height.
- Ability to walk and stand for most of the shift.
Responsibilities
- Keep flower displays immaculate and attractive.
- Restock, organize, and monitor flower inventory.
- Use a mobile device to communicate with a supervisor and report activities.
- Interact professionally and in a friendly manner with store employees, managers, and customers.
- Prepare stores for peak demand during Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, and Christmas.
- Help set up new displays and make inventory adjustments during department resets.
- Support teammates with special activities when needed.
