About The Position
Falcon Farms is hiring a part-time Flower Merchandiser to maintain floral displays at assigned stores and represent the company to its clients. The role involves working independently while coordinating with local teams to create attractive displays and optimize inventory. A planned route and the tools needed for visits are provided. The schedule is Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday, with approximately one flexible hour per visit. Pay is $35 per visit. The merchandiser maintains and restocks flowers, monitors inventory, communicates with a supervisor using a mobile device, and interacts professionally with store employees, managers, and customers. The role also includes preparing stores for peak floral demand during Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, and Christmas; setting up new displays and adjusting inventory during department resets; and helping teammates with special activities when needed. Availability during the peak season from November to May is required.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Ability to read, write, and understand instructions in English.
- Reliable transportation to reach assigned locations.
- Internet access and a smartphone.
- Availability to work during peak season from November to May.
- Ability to frequently lift and move boxes weighing up to 40 pounds.
- Ability to bend, stretch, and lift products above shoulder level.
- Ability to walk and stand for most of the shift.
Responsibilities
